ABOUT US

We believe that healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and supported. Our practice was created as a space where you can show up exactly as you are—no need to perform, explain, or hold it all together.

WE BELIEVE HEALING IS NOT ABOUT BECOMING SOMEONE NEW

At Heartwood Therapy, we believe healing is not about becoming someone new—it’s about returning to the truest version of yourself. Our practice is rooted in the idea that every person carries an inner resilience, even when life feels heavy or unclear. Therapy offers a space to reconnect with that resilience, gently and at your own pace. We’re a small, intentional team of therapists who are passionate about creating safe, affirming spaces for growth and emotional wellbeing.

Our work is trauma-informed, compassion-led, and centered on deep listening. We know that healing is not linear, and we’re here to meet you wherever you are in your journey—with presence, curiosity, and care.

"Working with my therapist at Heartwood has been life-changing. I came in anxious, exhausted, and unsure of who I was anymore. Over time, l've learned how to set boundaries, tune into my body, and speak to myself with real compassion.

— SOPHIE L.

"Therapy at Heartwood has been such a grounding part of my life. I never felt rushed or judged —just gently guided back to myself. The somatic tools have helped me feel more connected and calm than I thought was possible."

— JASMIN R.

"I thought therapy would be about fixing problems. Instead, it's helped me rebuild my relationship with myself. My therapist met me with so much warmth and understanding. I didn't realize how much I needed that until I found it."

— ELENA M.

THESE BELIEFS ARE NOT JUST WORDS

WHAT WE BELIEVE IN

At Heartwood Therapy, our work is guided by core values that shape every interaction, every session, and every space we hold. These beliefs are not just words—they’re woven into how we show up for you.

Healing is not linear, it's complex.

We honor that growth takes time, and that every journey looks different. There’s no rush, no “right” way—only what feels true for you in this moment.

You are the expert of your own story.

We’re here to walk beside you, not ahead of you. Our role is to support your self-discovery, not direct it. We trust your inner wisdom, and help you reconnect with it.

Your Safety comes first.

Emotional safety is foundational to any therapeutic work. We create a space where you can speak freely, feel held, and explore at your own pace—always with consent and care.
